I’m the director of the WIRED Reviews team which spends the whole year testing and reviewing products to pick the best for our various buying guides. A few times a year, many of those products go on sale (along with tens of thousands of other products we do not recommend). When the flood of deals hits, as it is today for Amazon’s Big Deals Days, our team works round the clock to spotlight the stuff worth buying and warn you off fake discounts and substandard products.
