Hopefully you aren’t sick of Christmas movies yet, because Amazon Prime Video still has them on tap. In addition to Last Christmas, Violent Night, and Candy Cane Lane, there’s now Merry Little Batman, the world’s second Christmas Batman movie after Batman Returns, of course. This movie also features the most kid-friendly Batman ever, as well as Little Batman, who is an actual kid. Older fans may scoff, but this is a good way to get younger children to watch a Batman film that isn’t too dark or scary for them.

For more mature audiences, this week marks the Prime Video debut of Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City, one of our quirky favorites from last summer. It’s a movie that deals with grief, love, and something out of this world. There’s a lot of family and heart in it too, so it’s a good companion for all of these holiday movies on Prime Video.

Wondering what’s new on Prime Video? There’s still more to come in 2023, so keep checking back every Friday for the latest update to our list of the best movies on Amazon Prime Video right now.

We’ve also put together guides to the best shows on Prime Video, the best movies on Hulu, the best movies on Netflix, the best new movies to stream, and the best movies on Disney+.
