Poco F7 5G India, Global Launch: All We Know
The Poco F7 5G will launch in India on June 24 at 5:30pm IST, the company confirmed in an X post. The handset will be available in the country via Flipkart. It will be unveiled in select global markets on the same day as well, Poco added in another X post.
Poco F7 5G’s design has been teased in promotional teasers, which shows the phone in a black and silver dual-tone finish. The words “Limited Edition” are inscribed on the rear panel, suggesting the limited availability of this particular colour variant.
A vertically placed elliptical rear camera module holds two sensors. A pill-shaped LED flash unit appears next to the camera island. Inscription near the module reveals that the Poco F7 5G will sport a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support. The Snapdragon logo appears on the panel as well, suggesting that the handset will be equipped with a Snapdragon chipset.
Previous leaks have suggested that the Poco F7 5G will likely be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. The company has confirmed that the Indian variant of the Poco F7 5G will come with a 7,550mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. Meanwhile, the global version may pack a 6,500mAh cell.
The Poco F7 5G is expected to be equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter at the back, alongside a 20-megapixel selfie camera at the front. The phone may come with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, an IP68-rated build, and an aluminium middle frame. It could be priced at about Rs. 30,000 in India.
Notably, Poco India Chief Himanshu Tandon had earlier teased the arrival of the Poco F7 Ultra variant in India. The phone could be unveiled in the country alongside the vanilla Poco F7 5G model.
