OnePlus Nord 5 is expected to be launched in India next month. While OnePlus remain tight-lipped about the arrival of the new Nord series smartphone, an alleged Geekbench listing reveals the possible model number and the key specifications of the handset. The OnePlus Nord 5 is listed as featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM, on the benchmarking website. The OnePlus Nord 5 was earlier rumoured to debut as a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition.

OnePlus Nord 5 Shows Up on Geekbench

An unannounced OnePlus smartphone appeared on the Geekbench database with model number CPH2707, which is most likely a OnePlus Nord 5 prototype. The listing shows that OnePlus might use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset for the OnePlus Nord 5. The listing suggests a processor with 8 cores, with a prime core ticking at 3.01GHz, four other cores with a clock speed of 2.80GHz, and three cores clocked at 2.02GHz. These CPU speeds are related to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

The purported OnePlus Nord 5 received a single-core score of 1,977 and a multi-core score of 5,090. The handset in question is shown with 11.03GB of RAM. This could translate to 12GB on paper. The listing also mentions the Android 15 operating system.

Until recently, the OnePlus Nord 5 was anticipated to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset, aligning with the specifications of the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition. The latter was launched in the Chinese market last month.

OnePlus Nord 5 Price, Specifications (Expected)

The OnePlus Nord 5 is speculated to arrive in India on July 8 alongside the OnePlus Nord CE 5. It is likely to be priced at around Rs. 30,000 in the country.

Past leaks suggested a dual rear camera unit led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 7,000mAh battery on the OnePlus Nord 5. It is tipped to feature a 16-megapixel front camera. It is expected to support 100W wired fast charging.
