The second generation of Nintendo’s beloved hybrid console arrived earlier this year. The Switch 2 has incredible screen quality, backwards compatibility with older Switch games and peripherals, and refined Joy-Con 2 grips (the real necessity of an updated Switch). It’s sure to be on many people’s Christmas lists, including my own. Sadly the device itself isn’t on sale, but there are some bundles and accessories you can shop instead. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or your favorite gamer, here’s the best deals to grab.

How To Get a Switch 2 for A Little Cheaper
The Switch 2 console itself is at its typical price ($449) at most retailers, including Amazon and Best Buy, but the way to get a little discount is to shop bundles. The bundle with Mario Kart World will save you $20, since the game is usually $70 but the bundle runs for $500.
Best Switch 2 Accessory Deals
If you’re shopping for someone who already has a Switch 2 (or, you know, yourself with your Switch 2) or know it’s something they’re getting for Christmas and you want to get an accessory, here are our favorite on-sale accessories.
This attachable grip case provides light protection from bumps and scratches, and includes Joy-Con grips. It technically fits into the official dock, but it is a tight squeeze.
I love my Switch Pro controller, and while there’s an improved one you can use with the Switch 2, the original is still great and on sale right now.
If you’re looking for gaming headphones to use with a Switch 2, these earbuds from SteelSeries are our favorite to use with it. The slim adapter plugs right into the console’s USB-C port for low-latency 2.4-GHz audio, and there’s an app that lets you choose a sound profile for Switch games.
Games are only getting bigger, and you might need more storage than you expect. You can’t use an old MicroSD card with the new Switch 2, and instead need to get a MicroSD Express card. Read our whole explainer on it here.
