Update 10/23/24: This starts our coverage of the Apple Watches for the upcoming Black Friday, and we’re already seeing breakout deals, especially on the Ultra model available below.

Black Friday is weeks away, starting officially on November 29 this year, but we don’t have to wait until then for great deals to start. At present, we’re looking at Apple Watch deals that have hit the major sites earlier than usual. This means that you can go ahead and get one of the best smartwatches (and, by extension, best fitness trackers) at a discounted price before the holiday even begins. Sometimes early deals, like the ones on this page, are even better than the deals we see during the event itself, as deals that are “too good” can get bought up or “corrected” by companies as time goes along. So, feel free to shop these early smartwatch deals covering one of your favorite Apple products. From the very latest to older models and from ‘SE’ to ‘Ultra,’ you’ll find every good deal available on Apple Watches here.

Apple Watch SE 2 [GPS 40mm] — $189 $249 24% off

The SE2 is the humblest of the Apple Watches available today, but that doesn’t mean it is hindered in any way for the typical user. All of the core function that you want from a health-tracking watch, plus all of the sweet iPhone connection possibilities, are still there. In fact, our Apple Watch SE 2 review (which covers the 44mm version of this watch) actually praises the watch for the extra simplicity it brings. More is not always better.

Apple Watch SE 2 [GPS + Cellular 40mm] — $239 $299 20% off

Another Apple Watch SE 2, this time with cellular capabilities. At $239, this is an excellent way to get into the cellular Apple Watch sphere. It ensures you don’t need to have a phone with you at all times and just might help you break your phone addiction.

Apple Watch Series 9 [GPS 45mm] — $329 $429 23% off

The Apple Watch Series 9 is the one that introduced the unique double-tap feature, where you could tap your index finger and thumb together on your watch-bearing hand as a quick way to access some features on the watch. In our Apple Watch Series 9 review, the reviewer didn’t seem to need to use the feature all that often, as its just an occasional thing. They did, however, note that this watch is an excellent first Apple Watch, if you’re just now springing to get one. Notably, this deal price of $329 is the same as the one we captured after the most recent Prime sale, so it isn’t likely to drop later.

Apple Watch Series 10 [GPS 46mm] — $399 $429 7% off

The Apple Watch Series 10 is really new and just finding its deal footings. At 7% off, we’re not yet getting a lot off, but we have broken the $400 barrier on the 46mm version. As explained in our Apple Watch Series 10 review, the watch has a bright OLED screen with a wide viewing angle. You might also enjoy the speaker, which is serviceably loud.

Apple Watch Ultra 2 [GPS + Cellular 49mm] — $680 $799 15% off

Despite the high price, this is the deal to get if you want an Apple Watch at a good discount. To put it into perspective, we were finding this watch at $749 after the latest Prime event, but are finding it for $680 now, a savings of an additional $69. Plus, as shown in our Apple Watch Ultra 2 review, this watch has a big, bright screen that looks absolutely fantastic.

How to choose an Apple Watch on Prime Day

In many ways, choosing an Apple Watch on Prime Day is like choosing a budget for anything else. Get the best you can get based on your budget. The SE 2 and Series 9 Apple Watches are going to be the cheaper watches for a couple of reasons. One, the SE 2 is designed to be on the cheaper side, giving you the basic needs of a smartwatch without being extra fancy. Then, the Series 9 is an “older” model now that the Series 10 is in, making it ripe for deals. If your budget is somewhat higher, look for one of the Ultra watches.

The next interesting thing is the comparison between the Apple Watch 9 and Apple Watch 10. The Series 10 might be a great watch to get if you’re looking for the absolute latest, but isn’t necessarily a great upgrade if you already own a 9. For example, the newer of the two watches doesn’t have blood oxygen monitoring, at least at this time. That means that you might want to “skip ahead” to an Ultra version instead if you already have the 9 and want an upgrade.

How we chose these Apple Watch Prime Day deals

These deals weren’t too hard to pick out, considering the limited amounts of models of Apple Watch around today. The most important thing was finding models that people would likely want and use, looking at sites like Best Buy and Amazon that have reliable product distribution, and then finding the best price available.

Ultimately, we’re pretty familiar with Apple Watches and know that they’re a reliable product. You’ll see links to our hands on reviews of them in the writeups above, as well. It is not to say that there aren’t excellent Apple Watch alternatives, but if you’re an iPhone user there aren’t many better smartwatches than these.
