Dell’s compact server tower is down to $970 today

If you’re looking for a way to store, manage, and run your business’s critical apps in a centrally-located place and don’t want to have to rely on external services, consider the Dell PowerEdge T350 Tower Server. Right now it is on sale for just $970 instead of its usual $1,510. That saves you $540, or about a third of the price. To get it, tap the button below. Otherwise, keep reading and we’ll look into what this version of the T350 has to offer and explore if you’ll want to consider making any customizations to your order before tapping ‘Buy.’

Why you should buy the Dell PowerEdge T350 Tower Server

The Dell PowerEdge T350 Tower Server is made for smaller businesses or companies (or even families) to store data and apps in a centralized space. Interviews with the designers show a lot of the thinking that went into this product — previous designs were bulkier than the needs of typical customers would allow. This machine, instead, is made with a more compact design than previous versions, which favors typical customers. You’ll also like the ability to customize the Dell PowerEdge T350 Tower Server to your liking.

Configurations for the Dell PowerEdge T350 Tower Server are plentiful, and you can add more drives to the system easily in the checkout menu, add Linux as secondary OS, and even choose a different power cord should you so desire. However, one option to look at closely is the option to add RAID (aka ‘Redundant Array of Independent Discs’) tech to the mix. In short, if used properly, this technology will allow you to spread your data over multiple drives. RAID 0 does so to increase speed, RAID 1 does so to fail-safe your data, and RAID 5 and RAID 10 do so to combine speed and fault tolerance. Simply put, this tech either splits your data up for quicker finding or so that if one drive fails the rest can reconstitute your data with nothing lost. This is off by default, and changing to RAID adds nothing to the cost, so this is the number one configuration option you may want to look at before purchase.

Currently, you can get the base Dell PowerEdge T350 Tower Server for just $970. Again, that’s $540 off of its usual $1,510 price point. To find it, just tap the button below. Finally, there are a lot of hot Dell deals going on right now, not just this one, so be sure to have an eye out for great savings.
