Developer Treyarch and publisher Activision have released the first look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s narrative in a new cinematic gameplay trailer. Revealed during today’s Xbox Games Showcase, todays’ trailer highlights some of the strange 1990s conspiracy happening within the United States in Treyarch’s long-running Black Ops series alongside some quick looks at the gameplay. 

After the trailer, Microsoft Gaming CEO reiterated that Black Ops 6 will launch on Xbox and PC Game Pass on day one later this year, although no release date was revealed. The game will also come to PlayStation as well. Spencer said this Black Ops 6 trailer is the first time a Call of Duty game has appeared in an Xbox showcase in 10 years, and that going forward, all players (across all platforms) will experience the game, betas, seasonal expansions and updates, and more at the same time.
